In 1886, a young 25-year-old German engineer, Robert Bosch, founded an electrical engineering company in Stuttgart. He had just returned from a long professional trip to the United States which had taken him to work.

For Thomas Edison, one of the greatest engineer-entrepreneurs in history. Bosch improved the ignition magneto the following year, to be the first to adapt it to a car engine. Bosch 18 V combo kit also has a belt clip and an engine brake.

This innovation allowed him to develop his business at a sustained pace. Bosch currently employs 280,000 people worldwide, including 7,000 in France and generates 46 billion euros in turnover.
